Let us know if you are interested and we'll quote you. Thanks

03/18/08 - Brass availability
Well, the brass situation has worsened over the last several months to the point that 308 brass has essentially become unavailable. You are free to order 308 product from us but your 308 items will be back-ordered - long term. What is 'Long Term'? We do not know, maybe 6 months or a year or longer. We emphasize the switch to 223 caliber. We are now doing all finishes and coatings in the 223 caliber so there should be no reason not to switch.
03/10/08 - PINK
Pink is back for 223 as a single coat as well as dragon skin for 223
03/08/08 - No more 38" Belts
We are doing away with the 38" belts. All belts will be 42" from now on. If you wish to sell shorter lengths, you can easily change the length yourself when you receive the items. If you have special needs, please email us.
06/10/07 - Brass situation
Notice: Thank you for 'partnering with us' to support your business. And as your partner, I feel compelled to maintain good communications with you concerning our products and the industry we are in.
In the past you have experienced delayed shipments with us due to parts shortages. Our products are made from actual military and commercial bullet components in order to give
you a truly awesome 'real' product made in the USA, not some fake replica manufactured in a factory in China. Our products are made from parts from the actual U.S. military bases around the country in most cases. There are
currently several military actions around the world that the United States is involved in. Iraq and Afganistan are only 2 of 37 separate current conflicts in process right now. As a
result of this, there are severe ammunition shortages. The U.S. Government's stratigic reserve (ammunition stockpile) is depleted and the shortages are getting worse. As a result, we are having extreme difficulty
in obtaining the parts we need to supply you with the products your customers want.
You have seen the prices go up quite a bit in the last year. That is because our cost have sky-rocketed and the shortages drive the price up. We have made a deal with an ammunition
manufacturer that will supply us with an exclusive contract for tips for our products. The good news is that the tips are brand new - not used, pulled from Military inventory
(that is gone now). They are beautiful brand new shiney copper or nickel. The bad news is that using them will increase our cost by 4-6 cents per bullet.
Of course, your price will go up as well. The most severe shortage is in the 308 caliber line but the 223 line is in the same basic fix.
I know that you have a business to run and while you have chosen to deal with us (and we sincerly appreciate that) your primary objective is to sell product and keep your customers
happy. It really does not matter to you who supplies the product to you, you just want value for your money. We ask for your patience during these times. We also ask that you simply pass the
increased cost on to your retail price for our products. This shortage is not just with SDA. I have heard estimates of two to three years before the ex-military parts become available in
numbers again, and the cost will drop as well when that time comes.
The increased cost of 'new' parts (tips) will add $2 to $4 per belt but will speed things up in addition to giving you a higher quality product. We will hold off as long as we can, but our
last 2 orders for military parts were rejected due to zero inventory and we cannot guarantee ANY future availability of the military items. We have not added the $2 - $4 increase to the product
line...yet. But when we are sure that we can no longer get the pulled, ex-military stuff any longer, we will switch to the new parts and go back and change pricing on the product line
and ALL open orders. New invoices will be sent at that time.
Please bear with us during these difficult times. We will let you know when the change takes place.
Thank You - Chuck Shuey Owner/ SDA

CANADA and the U.K.
Do you sell items overseas or to Canada? Would you like to sell bullet belts or bullet guitar straps outside the U.S. but didn't know the legalities of doing so? We can modify any of our products to be exported. We sell a lot of belts and straps and more to Canada, the U.K., Sweden, Germany, Spain, Italy and more. Now you can too. Just tell us that you want the items 'demil'd" - There is a minimal charge for this service which involves running the belt through our demil machine which makes a small cut on the back of the bullet. This cut will guarantee that the bullet can never again be reloaded with gunpowder and used in any weapon system. This is a requirement of the U.S. State Department and the Department of Commerce. Email any questions. Charlie
2006 - Bullet Latches (?)
OK, Here's the deal. we're all familiar with bullet belts. put two links together, slide a bullet in between them and presto, they are linked. This is the same way that the 'ends' of the bullet belt connect together when wearing a belt. The problem is, once you push the bullet in to lock in around you, it is very difficult to remove it again to remove the belt. We have a solution. The "Latching" round. It is basically, a bullet key-ring with a smaller 1 inch ring through the case. Use this for the final 'latching' round when connecting the belt ends together. The ring makes it easy to grab and pull. No more taking the belt off over your head. Now included FREE on all belts
2006 - GOREIFIED
What's this all about? We take a 223 tipped belt, preheat it to 400 degrees, dip the tips in dark red powder coat and then bake it for half an hour. The result is a little darker brass and a thick blood-red droplet on the end of the bullet that wears like iron, looks very cool and is a not too expensive way to add appeal to an existing product. The response has been very good. This process is called GOREIFIED. It is only available in 223 regular belts at this time. Part # W223101G - Take a look here.
